Brand new Palazzo. The casino part of the hotel opened at the very end of December. At this time, rooms were not available for occupancy and became available on January 4th. We were among the first to check in. We were the first occupants of 15801 and because of a shower drainage issue we were also the first occupants of 19726. I really enjoyed playing in the Palazzo casino. The dealers, pit bosses, and waitresses are SUPER nice. Their brand new Grand Luxe (grand opening was January 5th) has awesome service too. While there were a few things wrong with their rooms (shower would not drain in our first room, the door hinge screws were not in place in the second room, and the remote control curtain wasn't working properly), overall I enjoyed staying here. Very comfortable and modern.

| Stupid quote of the weekend:
I went to Columbia Mall and visited LensCrafters to see my friend. I walk in and say "Is K working today?" The receptionist's reply: "Who?" She then looks over to her manager and says "Do you know who K is?" and I say, "K is an optometrist here." Stupid receptionist's response: "Optometrist? You're in the wrong place."
Favorite quote of the weekend:
We were having a family dinner and started talking about married life. Eric busted out and said: "265 days till the wedding." I was VERY impressed.
